Cementation USA, Inc. (Cementation) is an underground mining engineering and construction company with US headquarters in Sandy, Utah (www.Cementation.com). We are currently seeking a Receptionist / Office Coordinator. Following is a general description of responsibilities and qualifications required for this position.

 Part Time Position - Average 25 hours per week. (Morning Shift - 7AM-12PM) (Afternoon Shift - 11:30AM-4:30PM)


  • Schedule and organize miscellaneous meetings for corporate and site
  • Provide a good first impression of professionalism and friendly, helpful, well organized service to anyone contacting our company- either physically walking through the door, or calling in.
  • Office seating and setup
  • Office printers
  • Answers multi-lined telephone system and directs calls to appropriate individuals or departments and relays messages.
  • Keeps a record of staff member's whereabouts and availability.
  • Manage mail & courier coming and going, and manage internal mail distribution
  • Maintain general office cleanliness and organization, including both work and leisure areas.

Building Maintenance Duties

  • Provide a primary level of security for the office space.
  • Maintain visitor and contractor sign-in/sign-out logs for building safety and compliance purposes.
  • Administers the badge entry system and visitor badge access for building security.
  • Sends out general announcements regarding work being completed in/around the building.


  • Assists with miscellaneous administrative functions for all departments.
  • Maintains Weekly Travel Report.
  • Completes electronic filing for HR and other departments as required.
  • Updates floor plans and extension list and posts on Intranet site.
  • Manage the kitchen/break room.
  • Manage office supply/storage room.
  • Notary services
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to type at least 45 wpm
  • Must be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relation, communication and organization skills
  • A high level of motivation, self-management, and effective prioritization skills
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or BS degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish) ability to read, write and answer calls in Spanish 
  • HR experience
